Hi, my name is Evan and I’ve started this blog under the assumption that many individuals are looking for something new to read. I’m a 20 year old college student studying psychology who likes to do some writing on the side. Besides sharing my writing to my friends and family, this blog serves as a tool in order to reach a new outlet of readers.
The blog title, “A Living Oddity,” can be interpreted as a multitude of things, however it is explained in my very first post titled “Welcome to Normal.” It is not a blog dedicated to establishing how outlandish of a human being I am. Instead, I’d rather you (the reader) recognize yourself as a “Living Oddity” since not a single soul is similar. In some of my more philosophical posts, I encourage discussion to not only establish communication among readers, but also to build a sense of community.
I try to post at least twice a day, some days more or less than others. I try to cover a wide range of topics and also encourage topic suggestions. Some posts may be a few paragraphs and some posts may only warrant a few sentences with a little video or picture attached.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog.
